The sun is shining!  It is the beginning of a new week, and a new season, and a new opportunity to serve our Lord.

What a wonderful privilege we had Sunday sharing the good news of Christ’s resurrection to the many who attended our adult and children’s services.

A huge thank you goes out to the many leaders that came and served.  It is your commitment to Christ and “His Church” that made this weekend possible.  Thank you for making our services possible from the nursery up through adult worship.

It is my prayer that each of us will enter this new season of spring with an anticipation of living and serving Jesus Christ.  May each of us experience a renewed sense of His power in our lives.  My encouragement for you today is from Philippians 2:5-11, which says:

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man he humbled himself and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
