I hope that your week is going well. I have been watching the news and it is filled with story after story of the incredible loss of life in Haiti.  It is hard to be thankful for the blessings we receive each day, as we see so much sadness and loss from this massive earthquake crisis.  I know that your hearts and prayers are with those who are suffering so much at this time.

In the midst of the tragedy, it has also been exciting and encouraging to see the outpouring of help that is coming in from people all over the world for the country of Haiti.  We know that every little bit will help; yet as believers in Jesus Christ, I pray that we will look beyond the crushed buildings and even broken bodies and see hearts that need to know the one who can truly make everything alright.  Pray that God will send Christian nurses, doctors, builders and emergency workers that can reach this country with the new of God’s eternal hope for their lives.
