Mark and Louise have been married for many years and have been attending Sierra Bible Church for most of their married life, where they have raised their four boys who are now grown adults. Mark has enjoyed teaching in various ministries and has also been given the opportunity to preach a number of times over the years. It was a “love at first sight” moment for Mark and Louise when they first met while in college in the Bay Area, where Mark completed a BS in Business Administration and Louise went on to become a 3rd grade teacher. She is currently the caregiver for their disabled son, coordinates the church’s Welcome Center newcomers team, and keeps all the men in the house happy with her tasty cooking. The entire family participates in raising funds for a cure for Chad’s disease.
Mark has also done extensive work on a theology degree from Western Seminary and graduated with another BS degree in Nursing. He is working at Sonora Regional Medical Center and wants to begin some mission trips in the future. Together, the family enjoys traveling, adaptive quadding and surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, water volleyball, tennis, and every day the Lord gives them!
