It’s February…the traditional time to send candy and flowers to the people we love and care about. Wouldn’t this also be a great time to reach out to our friends, neighbors and family with the love of Jesus? Here are a few ideas.
- Bake cookies and deliver them to your neighbors with an invitation to go to church for Valentine’s Day.
- Take time to mow your neighbor’s yard or shovel the snow from their walk. Leave a fresh six pack of flowers with an invitation to join you for services on Sunday.
- Send a note with an invitation for lunch following the morning worship services.
- I’m sure you can think of more. Be sure to let your friends and family know that we have a full program for their children, too.
Jesus said in John 13:34, “Love one another as I have loved you.”
