Mondays

Ladies, looking for a way to follow up on the inspiration from the SBC Women’s Conference?   On Mondays through May 17th at 6:45 p.m., join us in the study of Esther, with Beth Moore.  “If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you…this portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.”

Golden Needles
If you love to crochet, knit, quilt, sew, or would like to learn, Golden Needles is the place to be. Finished products area donated to charities, hospitals and mission trips. Donations of yarn are also accepted. Meets the third Monday of every other month, 2-4pm in the Music Room.  The next meeting will be on March 15th.  For more information, call Dixie at 984-4657.

Tuesdays

Women’s “Prodigal God Study” – meets from 8:45 to 10:00 a.m.  in Promiseland, Room G.    For more information, call Marsha at 694-0228.  (Childcare is available upon request.)

“Scrap and Talk” Women’s Study meets from 9:00-11:30 a.m. in the Music Room, and runs through March.  Connect and share with friends, while enjoying scrapbooking.  A devotional will be a part of the morning.  For more information, contact Linda at 532-2463.

Thursdays

“Here and Now – Then and There” (a Beth Moore Bible Revelation study) – meets from 10:00-12:00 noon in Promiseland, Room G.  For more information, please call Donna at 769-5861 or 586-5903.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

This year we’ll be exploring life Together on Planet Mom…truly an ‘out of this world’ experience!

We meet from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center.  MOPS is for any mother that is pregnant or has an infant to kindergartner.  We will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month through May.  For more information, go to  http://www.sbcmops.blogspot.com, or call Alyson at 533-2334 or Spring at 928-1378.

Opportunities to serve:

MOPPETS Workers – Would you like to be a super hero to a child? Do you love to hold babies?  Would you like to help a young mother maintain her sanity?  MOPPETS provides the opportunity for you to do all this and more.  If you are interested in providing childcare during MOPS meetings once or twice a month, call Deena (984-5750).

*Childcare:
Childcare is often provided for Bible studies and events. Cost is $5.00 per child per day and should be reserved one week in advance. To set up Child care, contact Linda (984-2494).

Mothers meeting to pray for their children and schools. This program runs during the school year.  Contact Ginny (533-4642) for information on when and where the different groups meet.
