The Sierra Bible Church Worship Ministries is more than music, we are a family. Being a highly relational ministry affords the privilege of great fellowship centered around serving Christ with our gifts. It’s not about our giftedness alone but about our heart’s intent to exalt Christ and point people to Him.
“These people come near to me with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.” (Isaiah 29:13)
In ancient times, God admonished the priests through the prophet Malachi for offering lame lambs on the altar of sacrifice. Our altar of sacrifice is our ministry to God, His people and a community that is far from Him. We must offer our best to Him in worship because He has given His best to us. So whether your giftedness is in music, in the creative arts or in the realm of hospitality & friendship, join us in offering our best to God!
Sierra Praise Choir
This choral group is intended to give people with an interest in vocal music the opportunity to focus that interest on worship of God and leading the Sierra Bible Church family in exhilarating times of praise & exaltation. The group meets on a scheduled basis for rehearsal, fellowship and devotional sharing. Worship Team Vocalists
Vocalists are selected on a rotating basis to assist in leading worship on-mike. Greater commitment and a more advanced musical ability is required. To schedule an audition, contact Pastor Michael at 532-1381 or click here.
Praise Bands
All types of instrumentalists are needed to assist in worship services. Piano and keyboard players, percussionists, woodwinds, strings and brass players are all welcome to participate. Messenger Drama Troupe
The purpose of this troupe is to illustrate the Word of God through the use of drama during worship services. All ages are welcome to sign up. Various drama workshops are held throughout the year. To get connected with the drama team, contact Deb at 533-2004 or click here.
Dance Ministry
Dancers of all skill levels can use their ability in dance to illustrate the truth of God’s love through this very exciting art form. Dances are choreographed and rehearsed as the need arises. To become a part of the troupe contact Camie at 532-1381 or click here.
Creative Arts Ministry Team
Painters, sculptors, crafters and seamstresses combine talents to produce visual arts that aid sermons and special events. The use of the arts in pointing people to God and His love is highly valued, and opportunities for artists to display their work in the church foyer are scheduled on a rotating basis. Audio Ministry Team

Technical Ministries
Technical Ministries is important and vital to the effectiveness of the worship service. Anyone with a skill in this area would enjoy this fast-paced and slightly pressured ministry. Friendship Ministries
The friendliness of this group is extended to help everyone feel at home at Sierra Bible Church, and has become a trademark of our ministry. Involvement in this ministry is as diverse as driving our parking shuttles, greeting, or ushering. Sign up for one worship service one time a month or a worship service every week! Sunday Fellowship
Each Sunday morning the participants of the Worship Ministries gather in the music room during the message portion of the second service to discuss the morning sermon & theme. Lively discussion, prayer and a great time of fellowship and food often becomes the highlight of the morning worship experience. This time is open to anyone who would like to participate.
