A Word From The Pastor

Welcome to Sierra Bible Church! If you are just starting to get to know Jesus, we hope that you will find Sierra Bible Church to be a safe and helpful place to begin this relationship. We will try to answer all your questions, and help you understand the wonderful gift of abundant life available both now and forever through Christ. If you are a Christ-follower looking for a church home, we hope that we can help you cultivate your relationship with God. We have lots of ways to help you grow, and lots of ways for you to serve as you discover God’s purpose for your life. I hope you enjoy getting acquainted with our church family! New to SBC Lunch: If you are new or feel new to Sierra Bible Church, we periodically schedule informational lunches after 2nd service in the Music Room. Our next scheduled lunch is Sunday, December 3rd.

Where is Sierra Bible Church? Sierra Bible Church is located in east Sonora on Tuolumne Road, across from Standard Road and the Standard Park Sports Complex/fields. Our address is 15171 Tuolumne Road, Sonora, CA.

What time is your Sunday Morning Service? We have 2 services on Sunday mornings: 8:45am and 10:30am

How big is the church? Our attendance on Sunday morning averages about 800.

What do you offer for teens? Junior High and High School students meet for Sunday school from 10:30 to 12:00. They also meet together during the week. Please check out the Student Ministries page for the latest information.

What do you offer for children? Children’s Sunday School: Nursery (for infants newborn through 1 year) – available at all services on the east side of the Worship Center; Children’s Ministries Building (for children 2 years old through 6th grade) during both the 8:45 and 10:30 services. Please see the Children’s Ministries page for further information on what is available.

What should I wear to service? Most people who attend wear casual attire, but clothing ranges anywhere from slacks and a dress shirt to t-shirts and shorts for men — from dresses and heels to shorts and sandals for women.

Who can I talk to if I want to know more? Please feel free to call the church office during the week (532-1381), or drop by the Welcome Center in The Commons on Sunday mornings.
