Sierra Bible Church Food Pantry & Community Needs Network

In an effort to meet the increasing needs of people in our community, Sierra Bible Church is expanding its Food Pantry and Community Needs Network ministries.

The Food Pantry is a ministry that distributes food to walk-in clients.  The Community Needs Network is a ministry that purposes to connect people with needs to those who can meet those needs.

These ministries are available at the Sierra Bible Church office Monday through Friday from 9 AM to noon.  Walk-in clients will meet with a support facilitator for a needs assessment as a part of providing services to meet their individual needs.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Sign-up to be a Support Facilitator. Support facilitators build relationships through the ministry of CNN & the Food Closet by providing leadership coverage once a week for three hours (9 AM to noon) at the church office to greet walk-ins and facilitate needs, as well as assist with CNN by contacting and connecting clients.
  • Donate to the Sierra Bible Church Family Emergency Fund.

SBC is now an ATCAA Food Bank.  This means we are able to obtain large amounts of food for a very small shipping price.  We have so appreciated your generous giving of food items to supply our Food Pantry for so many years.  Now we can make our dollars go so much further by being able to use ATCAA.  The food is free, and we pay a very small shipping price for each case, sometimes as little as $.10 per case. If you want to make a donation, you may make the check to SBC and designate for the “Family Emergency Fund.”  We will use this fund to offset the shipping costs while maximizing our food.
