Local Outreach

SBC is involved in several community service outreach ministries:

* Food For Thought – Weekly outreach providing meals to the homeless in our community.  We also continue to collect new/used candles and canisters of white gas for distribution.

* Interfaith Community Social Services – Providing volunteers and finances for those facing misfortune.  Open from 10:00 to 1:00 Monday through Friday.

* SBC “Food Pantry”.  In coordination with the Community Needs Network, food will be distributed on Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church office.  

* SBC Family Emergency Fund – for families in crisis and to help support the Food Pantry.

* Foothill Pregnancy Center – Providing volunteers and finances; helping men and women in crisis choose life.

* “On the House” – volunteers providing breakfast once a month at Tuolumne Memorial Hall.

* Habitat for Humanity – volunteers helping build homes.

* Sierra Conservation Center – prison ministry in Jamestown.
